DIGIMON WORLD 2 ONLINE

The PlayStation game from 2000, online. Meet other tamers in Digital City, run domains built for you, and trade what you find.

  • No public server yet
  • Windows and Linux

Main Gate, Digital City

How it plays

One tamer, a shared city and domain runs that never run out. You meet other tamers in Digital City, take a domain item through the Domain Connector, fight through floors built for that run, and come back with loot to gear up and trade. Then you go again, one level higher.

  1. Meet in the Main Gate

Tamers with name tags in the Main Gate

Your tamer walks Digital City with everyone on your channel. Chat, add friends, open profile cards.

  2. Pick a domain item

The Domain Connector list of domain items

Carol opens the Domain Connector. Each domain item has a theme, a level, a rarity and affixes. A few level 1 domains are always open.

  3. Run the domain

A generated domain floor with a chest and an enemy party

Floors are built for your run. Enemy parties and the boss match the domain level. Battles keep the original turn rules.

  4. Take the loot

The run summary with the items and parts found

Battles, chests and the boss drop items, Digi-Beetle parts with random mods, and new domain items. The server rolls every drop.

  5. Gear up and trade

    The Digi Exchange market window

Back in the city: equip parts on your Digi-Beetle, salvage the rest, and trade on the Digi Exchange. Then pick a harder domain.

Online rules

One tamer per account
Your partner, Digimon, items and bits live on the server, never in a local save.
The server decides
It runs the game rules for every player, in step with the client: battles, drops and rolls happen there.
Domain levels
Every domain is open at every level. Higher levels mean more floors, stronger parties and better loot.
Ironman
An Ironman tamer plays the same loop alone: no trades and no market.

The server decides
